MoreBlack&MoreWhite

__________
Description:
Regarding to the fact that in digital mediums with aggregation of colors, white can be created, but in physical mediums it is vice versa; I made a paper sculpture for a video and combined it with the minimal music by Terry Riley to challenge the linguistic boundaries of words implications. For this piece, the music is means of replacing the spoken language and overcoming the fixation on what is said. The video is back projected in a dark box and shows rounding paper cylinders in different speed that cause our eyes replace the position of black and white. At the same time juxtaposing some footage remind us the time passing is in the process. I wished to show that there is no single definition for the exact differences. I believe that differences such as in black and white cannot define the world properly. However, process of world can project all differences with no hierarchy.
